What is ENOUGH?
The vision God has given Pastor Wesley for 2010 is an emphasis on Stewardship. Since this vision includes the entire Greater Little Rock congregation, our ROCK Night study for this semester is on Stewardship. The curriculum we will use is called ENOUGH, by Adam Hamilton. The book we will study is ENOUGH, Discovering Joy Through Simplicity and Generosity, by Adam Hamilton.
We are doing something a little different this semester. (Christian Education must be creative and flexible.) All adults are studying the same book; however, you still get to choose which small group is best for you. Perhaps you want to study each week with a group of men or you might want to gather with your sisters in the Lord each week. Perhaps you want to go through this study on stewardship with your spouse. We encourage engaged couples and newlyweds to complete the study together. Perhaps you want to gather with other 21st Century young adults and study the Word. (The Young Adult Class is open to married couples or singles between the ages of 18-39.) Once again we will have a general (open) session for those whose work schedule does not allow them to attend each week and for those who the Lord will add to our congregation throughout the semester.
By the end of the semester you will be able to better define your life purpose, your life goals and you will experience better financial health. As always the desire for ROCK Night/JAM is to provide you with tools that will aid in your individual spiritual growth and discipleship growth which ultimately leads to congregational growth. Through Bible Study, Prayer & Fasting, and Group Fellowship, you will answer the question What is ENOUGH?
We look forward to seeing you each Wednesday night!
