Greater Little Rock Pre-School
Our philosophy is that every child deserves to be a part of a Bible-based, healthy, loving and safe environment.  Each child will be accepted and respected as a unique cretion of God.  Children will be actively involved in exploring and discovering with others. The Center will use the Active Learning Approach, which is conducive to the growth and strength of an open society. Motivational theorists suggest that children choose to become engaged in activities and interactions that are enjoyable; related to their current interest; and that allow them to experience feelings of control, success and competence.

Our Purpose and Goal
Since 2002, the Greater Little Rock Pre-School (GLR Pre-School), a ministry of Greater Little Rock Baptist Church, has been dedicated to providing a spiritually warm and physically healthy and safe learning environment.  We endeavor to teach children, first and foremost, from the Word of God, and this Word also governs the promise of more to come as we look to expand into a preschool and elementary school in the not-so-distant future.  The Church (through our individual homes and within the bounds of our daily living) should lead in the education of our children, and Greater Little Rock Baptist Church looks to do exactly that - lead in educating our children - one child at a time.  GLR Pre-School offers a hot lunch program, after school care, transportation, summer camp, Free 4 year old VPK, K-5 graduation ceremony, and employment opportunities.

Our goal is to provide a program that includes active learning and concrete encounters with the world through the Word of God, play and learning experiences.
